There is even no purpose comparing flavors and nutritional benefits of wild plants with their domesticated copies. Good wild plant book with photos, some practice that mostly involves walking in the fields, pastures, forests, headlands, will make you if not a wild plant expert so at least person that can pick some plants, berries or mushrooms and turn them in to herbal tea, nice salad, or entree full of flavor and nutrients. Or maybe you'll dry some herbs from the wild and upgrade your spice cabinet….
Anyways….. enjoy some info on the plants, herbs and mushrooms that I was lucky to find in NorCal. Hope it helps…..
